Quaint brunch spot that has outdoor seating that is street-level (not rooftop). We ate here for Sunday brunch and waited only 5 mins for an outdoor table. Service was as expected and food was just above average with strong drinks. Prices are very competitive, however. I would definitely return.

An enjoyable dinner experience at this neighborhood restaurant. Welcoming and comfortable interior space with wood-finished firniture and ambient low lighting. A fairly small but solid menu with dishes that are well prepared and delicious! The service is equally good, the staff is attentive and friendly.

Oct 2023 update: the eggs Benedict were amazing. I didn't love the French toast, but it was still yummy. Jan 2022: Cheeseburger is one of the best in Greenpoint. Definitely will be returning.

Had to sit at the bar so can’t say how the backyard really is but from a quick peak it was cute and the inside was a trendy atmosphere. The food was great! And so we’re the drinks. I’d definitely recommend for brunch!

We had almost all the starters and they were all amazing. My top favorites were the Soft Shell Crab, Pork Belly, and Shishito peppers. My friends wanted to order the burger and the chicken. I the burger was ok. The chicken and the sauce was great! The cocktails were also crafted with lots of love and labor! I had the Passionfruit mezcal and it was awesome. Highly recommended local spot in Greenpoint. I would definitely take the train from other neighborhoods to Greenpoint for Esme!

This is the best brunch me and my family have had in NYC. There is so much attention to detail and love in the cooking of the food and we loved everything we ordered, there wasn’t a bite remaining at the end of our meal. We got the pancakes (so fluffy, great maple syrup, perfect balance between sweet and a hint of salty), the fried chicken sandwich (juicy chicken thigh cutlet with crispy and not too thick breading and a dash of curry flavor, it was well seasoned and topped with perfectly pickled carrots and yummy sauce), the French toast (super crispy outside with a custardy inside and delicious vanilla bean creme fraiche on top), the avocado toast (bread, greens and sesame flavor were all incredible) and the Caesar salad which was amazing! Do yourself a favor and don’t miss this spot!

Solid Brunch Option! Like real solid! Amazing fried chicken sandwich although I think breast meat works better but thigh still works. The crunch on the outside along with the bacon really makes a great brunch meal(any excuse to eat fried chicken is a great meal). The eggs Benedict were another homerun choice, best hollandaise sauce on eggs ever. Those potatoes though. Seasoned to the Max! Savory French toast, why didn’t anyone think of this before! That Parmesan crust exterior, who ever thought of that deserves a French toast award. It caramelizes onto the bread and gives it that sticky salty goodness only Parmesan can create. Also the beignets were pretty good. Well bottom line, Everything was good.

Loved the food, service is great. Outdoor space is a vibe, lots of seating available indoor and outdoor overall on a Wednesday night. I didn’t make a reservation, just walked in. Great for all occasions, date night, friend hang, group dinner. Entree and apps are all very delicious. Portions are medium-sized. Had a mezcalginger drink which was delicious very IG worthy but I didn’t grab a pic.
